Grade 8 Science Experiment 2 - Explore Air and Water Pressure through Magic Science Tricks
The purpose of this science fair project is to explore the facets of air and water pressure. This science fair project consists of two projects. The first project involves understanding air and water pressure to help you "glue" a spoon to water. The second science fair project involves creating a magic straw sprayer.
The difference in air pressure between a liquid (water) and the air in the environment causes the spoon to "glue" to the water. The difference in air pressure causes water to rise in a straw that is placed in a glass of water.
The rate of water flow from the faucet (From just a drip to having the water faucet on full blast.)
